TREATMENT GUIDE

Procell microchanneling

A texture-focused treatment that uses a stamping device to create tiny channels in the skin. It is designed to support the skin’s natural repair response and collagen production, and is paired with Procell’s topical growth-factor serum, often called a “stem cell serum.”

What concerns can it help with?

The appearance of uneven texture, fine lines, enlarged pores, and acne scarring. It does not permanently close pores or guarantee complete scar removal.

Does Procell use a stem cell serum?

Yes—Procell’s topical delivery serum is often described as a “stem cell serum” because of its growth factors and cytokines, which are signaling proteins. Formulations can vary; Sara can explain the serum used at your appointment. The treatment does not involve injecting living stem cells.

What does it feel like, and will I look red afterward?

Expect a repeated stamping sensation. A pink or red flush can follow treatment; recovery varies with the treatment settings and your skin. Plan around important events rather than assuming no redness.

When will I see changes?

Changes in texture develop gradually over weeks. An early glow is different from longer-term improvement, and a series may be appropriate.

How often should I book, and what does it cost?

Sara generally spaces sessions four weeks apart. One session is $300; three are $800, with complimentary dermaplaning included in the package.

Can I combine it with another treatment?

The menu includes Procell + BioRePeel ($440; three for $1,200) and Procell + SERA ($475; three for $1,300). Sara assesses whether a combination suits your skin; more treatment is not automatically better.

TREATMENT GUIDE

SERA pigmentation treatment

Sara’s SERA service focuses on the appearance of uneven tone, visible sun damage, and lingering post-acne marks. SERA is a professional cosmetic treatment line; your plan depends on the concern being addressed.

Is a post-acne mark the same as an acne scar?

A flat discoloration and a change in skin texture are different concerns. Tell Sara whether you are bothered by color, indentations, or both so she can help you choose.

Should I choose SERA or Procell?

SERA is the menu’s pigmentation-focused option; Procell focuses on texture and skin renewal. If both tone and texture concern you, Sara can discuss the combined service.

Will it remove all my dark spots?

Complete clearing is not guaranteed. Pigmentation can need ongoing care, and results depend on the cause, your skin’s response, sun exposure, and your home routine. Persistent or changing spots should be assessed by a dermatologist.

What are the price and package options?

SERA is $225 per treatment or $600 for three. Procell + SERA is $475 per session or $1,300 for three.

How often can I have SERA, and what is the downtime?

Sara confirms spacing, preparation, and aftercare for the SERA protocol selected for you. A standalone appointment and a Procell combination may have different recovery needs; discuss your schedule before booking.

TREATMENT GUIDE

What is dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning is surface exfoliation with a professional blade that removes dead skin cells and fine facial hair, often called peach fuzz. It can leave the skin feeling smoother and looking less dull.

Why add it to a facial?

Removing surface buildup and peach fuzz can give skin a smoother finish. It is an optional step in selected facials and peel appointments, rather than a requirement for everyone.

Will my hair grow back thicker or darker?

No. Cutting hair at the surface does not change the follicle or make hair thicker. The cut end may feel different as it grows back; hair removal is temporary.

Is it suitable if I have breakouts or sensitive skin?

Active inflamed acne, irritated skin, or a disrupted skin barrier may make dermaplaning unsuitable. Sara checks your skin before proceeding.

Does it have downtime?

Temporary redness or sensitivity is possible. Be gentle with your skin and follow the aftercare for the full appointment, especially if dermaplaning is combined with a peel.

Which appointments include it?

Options include the 30-minute mini facial + dermaplane ($55), Signature Facial with dermaplane ($120), Glass Skin with dermaplane ($210), chemical peel with dermaplane ($145), and BioRePeel face with dermaplane ($165).

TREATMENT GUIDE

Chemical peels, explained

A chemical peel applies an exfoliating solution to help shed surface skin cells. Different formulas and strengths address different concerns, so a peel is selected around your skin, goals, and recovery preferences.

What concerns are peels used for?

Dullness, uneven surface texture, some discoloration, and the appearance of fine lines. Breakout concerns may also influence the formula selected. A peel does not treat every cause of acne or pigmentation.

What happens during the appointment?

Skin is cleansed and prepared, the peel is applied and monitored, and finishing care follows the selected protocol. Some peels need a home preparation routine before the appointment.

Does it sting?

Tingling or warmth can occur. Tell Sara immediately if discomfort feels intense; stronger sensations do not mean better results.

Will I peel, and how long is recovery?

Redness, dryness, tightness, and flaking can occur. Light peels may take several days to settle, while deeper peels have longer recovery. The expected response depends on the actual peel; discuss this before booking.

How often can I book, and what does it cost?

Sara’s chemical peel appointments are typically spaced 4–8 weeks apart, adjusted to your skin. A chemical peel is $120; with dermaplaning it is $145.

How do I care for peeling skin?

Do not pull off flakes, scrub, or add extra exfoliation. Use the recommended moisturizer and sun protection. Persistent burning, worsening swelling, or unusual skin changes need prompt professional advice.

TREATMENT GUIDE

BioRePeel: the “no-peel peel”

BioRePeel is a professional chemical exfoliation treatment. Its formulation combines exfoliating action with moisturizing ingredients, including amino acids and vitamins, for a fresher-looking complexion.

Why is it called the no-peel peel?

The phrase describes the often minimal visible shedding. It does not mean no acids, no skin response, or zero recovery. Dryness, redness, or light flaking can still happen.

What can I discuss it for?

Dullness, uneven-looking tone, and surface texture. Sara considers your skin condition, routine, and goals before recommending it.

How is it different from the other chemical peel on the menu?

BioRePeel is a specific branded formula. The chemical peel appointment is selected separately for your goals. The best choice depends on your skin and the particular formula, not how much visible peeling you want.

How often can I book?

Sara spaces BioRePeel sessions 2–4 weeks apart when appropriate. Skin must be ready for the next treatment; the interval may be extended if needed.

What are the options and prices?

Face: $140. Face with dermaplane: $165. Body: $140 per mL, with the total confirmed before treatment. Procell + BioRePeel: $440, or $1,200 for three combined sessions.

Does less peeling mean I can skip aftercare?

No. Follow your treatment instructions, protect your skin from sun exposure, and avoid adding extra exfoliation while your skin recovers.

TREATMENT GUIDE

Before & after your appointment

Bring your current skincare routine and tell Sara about your skin history. The right treatment includes a plan for preparation, recovery, and home care—not just the appointment itself.

What should I tell Sara before an advanced treatment?

Share recent peels, laser treatments, waxing, injectables, sunburn, medications, allergies, pregnancy or breastfeeding, current or recent isotretinoin use, cold-sore history, and any healing or immune-system concerns. These may affect treatment selection or require medical clearance.

Should I stop retinol or exfoliating acids?

Tell Sara which products you use and their strengths. She will give you the appropriate pause and restart instructions for your treatment. Do not stop prescribed medication without advice from your prescriber.

Can I wear makeup, work out, swim, or use a sauna afterward?

The timing depends on the service and your skin’s response. Ask for your specific timeline before leaving, particularly after Procell or a combination treatment. Avoid assuming one service’s instructions apply to another.

What should my routine look like afterward?

Follow the written instructions for your appointment. Gentle cleansing, recommended hydration, and sun protection are important; introducing new actives or scrubbing irritated skin can interfere with recovery.

Can darker skin tones have these treatments?

Treatment choice and settings must account for your skin tone and pigmentation history. Irritation can trigger discoloration, so a tailored plan matters. No service is automatically suitable for every skin tone or condition.

Can I book right before a wedding, photos, or vacation?

Allow time for skin to recover and tell Sara about the date and planned sun exposure. A first-time advanced treatment should not be scheduled assuming your skin will look event-ready immediately.

Do I need a series, and will results last forever?

Some goals need several treatments and continued home care. Skin changes over time; no service guarantees permanent results. Packages offer planned sessions, not a promise of a specific outcome.

What if I am not sure which service to choose?

Start with a Signature Facial or contact Sara with your concerns, current routine, and recent treatment history. She can help you choose rather than having you guess between advanced services.

GOOD TO KNOW

Before you book

Which skin service should I choose?

Start with a Signature Facial if you want a customized appointment. If you are considering SERA, a peel, or Procell, contact Sara with your concerns so she can help you choose.

How much downtime should I plan for?

That depends on the treatment and your skin. Discuss your schedule and skin history with Sara before an advanced service.

Are results guaranteed after one treatment?

Skin responds differently for each person. A series may be recommended for some goals; Sara can explain the plan at your visit.
